Session Description:
A detective from the Appleton Police Department will be joining us to discuss frauds and scams including identity theft and cyber scams.
Billions of dollars per year are stolen from U.S. citizens through a wide variety of fraudulent schemes and scams. The criminals behind these acts frequently target businesses, and individuals, to achieve financial gains. This presentation will cover the latest trends that law enforcement is encountering in the Fox Valley. We will discuss what is taking place, how it is occurring, what you can do to identify potential fraud, and how you can protect yourself, and/or your business, from falling victim to these acts.
