This month the board officially made the decision to hold the remaining meetings on our 2020-21 program year schedule virtually. The details of each meeting are available on our website and registration links will be updated as they’re available. We’re grateful that technology allows us to provide these local CPE opportunities, but look forward to a time when we can meet face-to-face again!
To that end, the planning process for next year will be upon us before you know it. This has been a year full of change and we can’t expect things to go back to how they were, even as our environment heads back to “normal”. The Global IMA organization has also begun a pivot to offering more “non-educational” opportunities to foster personal development, build relationships, and encourage engagement at the local level. What provides value for you as an IMA member and how can the chapter support you? We’d love to hear about the topics or speakers you’re interested in and any thoughts you may have on future event
formats.
We’d also love to welcome new ideas and viewpoints to our chapter board. Your current board is a friendly group of fellow IMA members who invest their time and energy into planning and executing the events you attend. “Many hands make light work” and there are plenty of opportunities to be involved with chapter
operations that carry a small time commitment. One of the objectives of our board restructuring efforts last year was to clearly define what is needed for our chapter and how best to share the load.
