Chapter Administration

Martha Paalman
IMA Global Liaison & Webmaster
|
Martha is the site controller for Amcor Flexibles North America's Oshkosh North plant. She has been with Amcor (formerly Bemis) for more than 17 years in various corporate and plant level finance positions.
Martha has been a member of the IMA since 2004. She has been the meetings director (and held various other positions) since 2005. She has been on the regional council board since 2016.

 Colleen Srnka, CMA, MBA
Secretary
|
Colleen is serving as Secretary of the Winnebagoland Chapter and assists with the monthly newsletter and program planning. Her MBA is from UW-Oshkosh and BS-Accountancy with Computer Science minor from UW-La Crosse.
Colleen is now semi-retired. She has been a seasonal individual tax preparer since 2009 currently with Tax Management Services Inc. Over her career she has worked with marrying business processes and ERP system capabilities throughout her career. Colleen has held various roles including cost analyst, systems consultant, implementation coordinator, business process re-engineering, modification specification writer/quality assurance, and trainer.
Colleen enjoys bicycling, fabric & paper crafty projects, tending flower gardens, reading, and spending time with family & friends. She participates in Book Club and Prayer Shawl Ministry at Resurrection Catholic Parish and has recently joined Unity Hospice as a project volunteer.
Colleen has been a member of the IMA since 2013. She has been on the board since 2016. |
 Amber Doering, CMA
Treasurer |
Amber is currently an Accountant for Miller Electric Mfg. LLC and has been with the company since 2013 in various roles. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Supply Chain Management from UW Oshkosh in 2018 and recently received her Certified Management Accountant designation.
Amber has been a member of the IMA since 2016. She has been the chapter secretary since 2018 and took over the chapter treasurer role in 2023.

Member Outreach & Professional Education Committee
 Jill Halverson, CMA, CSCA
Director of Engagement
|
Jill is an associate professor of business for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Fox Cities Campus. She teaches a variety of accounting, business, and business communication classes. In addition, she teaches for a number of programs, including the UW System Independent Learning program as well as the Flexible Option Bachelor of Science in Business Administration flexible degree program offered through UW Parkside. She spent nearly 20 years in "Corporate America” before finding a passion in teaching.
Professor Halverson joined the IMA in 2012 and is a Certified Management Accountant. She also holds the Certificate in Strategy and Competitive Analysis and holds a certificate in the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting through the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board. She holds an MBA from UW Oshkosh and a graduate certificate in corporate communications through Concordia University Wisconsin. |

John Wieland, CMA, CPA
CMA Coordinator
|
John currently owns John R Wieland CPA LLC in Oshkosh. He has worked in public accounting for various firms since he graduated from UWO in 1992. He has primarily focused on taxes, but does some work with clients using Quickbooks. John briefly worked for 3 years for Banta Packaging & Fulfillment, Inc.
John has been a member of the IMA since 1991, serving in many board positions including chapter president in 2005-2006 and Mid-America Council President for 2014-2015.
